Goodbye Passau: This is the last photo from my trip to Passau in May 2008. I took it from the Innsteg footbridge as the previous one and it shows the rear tower of St. Stephan’s Cathedral along with the tower of the Veste Oberhaus in background. CASTELLUCCIO “LA FIORITA”: Tra fine maggio e i primi giorni di luglio, l’altopiano di Castelluccio è testimone di un evento di particolare importanza, La Fioritura. Per diverse settimane la monotonia cromatica del pascolo, viene spezzata da un mosaico di colori, con variazioni di toni che vanno dal giallo ocra al rosso. Anche se la festa della “Fiorita” ricade nella terza e nell’ ultima domenica di Giugno, non esiste un preciso giorno per ammirare questo incantevole spettacolo. Ogni anno tutto è affidato all’andamento climatico della stagione. Le specie floreali che tingono il Pian Grande e il Pian Perduto in questo periodo, sono innumerevoli, camminando lungo i sentieri possiamo incontrare: genzianelle, narcisi, violette, papaveri, ranuncoli, asfodeli, viola Eugeniae, trifogli, acetoselle e tant’altro
